My name is Iain Collie.

I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000 with a Bachelor of Architecture (honours) and have maintained registration with the Board of Architects of Queensland since 2009.  I have been practicing in Australia and the United Kingdom, the latter being for more than 16 years, working on many new-build, extension and refurbishment projects in Surrey, Hampshire and London.  A majority of these have been complex and intricate work within listed buildings and conservation areas.  

Between 2014 and 2019, I was an associate of London-based Alan Higgs Architects, a firm of passionate and dedicated architects who have truly shaped who I am as a designer today.  I've also gained invaluable experience from Garnett & Partners - also London-based - and Arklab Architecture in Brisbane.  

I apply this 24 years of experience to every new commission, big and small, with a high level of intensity and dedication to achieving my clients’ vision.
